Battery Creek made its first win of the season an impressive one Friday, blowing out visiting Creekside Christian 31-6.

Jaeon Allen and Tre Booth had big games on the ground, and Kyseem Jabbar returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown to lead the Dolphins.

Booth opened the scoring with a 61-yard touchdown run and added a 6-yard TD run in the second half, finishing with 125 yards on 15 carries. Allen rolled up 135 yards on 14 carries, including a 4-yard TD in the first half and a 2-yard TD in the fourth quarter.

The Dolphins’ defense also had a great night, holding the Cougars scoreless until the fourth quarter and wreaking havoc in the backfield all night. Brandon Wilson had four tackles for loss and two sacks, Shamar Hamilton had three tackles for loss and a sack, and Ellis Williams recorded an interception to lead the dominant defensive effort.

The Dolphins (1-3) host Lake Marion to open region play next Friday.
