THA’s five run third sinks Dolphins

BEAUFORT – Thomas Heyward jumped out to an early lead in the first and continued to add on, scoring in every inning defeating the Dolphins 16-5 at Dolphin Field Monday night. Brooke Crosby got Creek on the board with a solo homer in the second but the bats went cold over the next two innings.

Emmert’s four RBIs leads Dolphins to victory

MT. PLEASANT – Bailey Emmert blasted a three-run homer in the first inning, setting the table for the Dolphins as they avenged Tuesday night’s loss to Academic Magnet, defeating the Raptors 12-8 Friday night. Softball drops region opener to Academic Magnet

BEAUFORT – Battery Creek softball plated nine runs but dropped their region opener to visiting Academic Magnet, 14-9 Tuesday night. Haley Maroney led the Dolphins’ offense going 2-for-5 and picking up a team-high three RBI’s. Bailey Emmert and Alex Thomas notched three hits in four at-bats and Thomas recorded a two-RBI single in the sixth.

Creek plates 12 in “W” over JPII

OKATIE – Bailey Emmert and Briana Martinez both collected three hits and the Dolphins plated six runs in the fifth to pick up their first win of the season over John Paul II on Tuesday. Emmert, Haley Maroney, Alex Thomas and Elisa Williams each drove in two runs while Martinez and Brooke Crosby drove in one.

Bobcats rout Dolphins, 21-3

BEAUFORT –  The Dolphins collected eight hits, but committed five errors and the Bobcats used a six run third and a 14-run fourth inning to rout the Dolphins 21-3 this past Friday at Dolphin Field. BEAUFORT – Due to incoming inclement weather, all Battery Creek Athletic events have been canceled.
